The font on this website is my own. It's a scan capturing the odd habits I picked up as a kid. 

I could never actually write this neat though. Even if the digital typesetter tried to, it could never replicate my particular kind of messy. I wish I had that "good girl" handwriting, but alas. . . 

I'm currently on a quest to rekindle my ambition, and I like this font as a soft reminder of why I lost my ambition in the first place. Whenever I reach out into the world, automation and scale are always there, promising to extend my will indefinitely far. As a tiny little human facing off against THE SYSTEM, it's impossibly seductive. 

This font extends me. It is me, reaching out to you through the screen. Hello!

But it is also soulless. And even if I gave it a mind and a soul, its life would be its own. 

I left the cult of the machine god over a year ago now, but I don't think the lesson has fully sunk in. There is no easy way through. The world I want will take real effort and constant vigilance. 

Let me rest a bit longer please <3
